Log into AWS and Navigate to Compute -> EC2
On the right side, You can see a dropdown titled Instances. Click on instances.
Now click on the big button that says Launch Instance. This will send you the first step of Setting up an Instance.
Now, Step #1 is Choosing an AMI. Which is basically the Operating system Or a pre-built Image created by Amazon (e.g. Deep Learning AMI, OpenVPN Access Server, cPanel (BYOL) etc)
Step #2 Choosing an Instance Type. This depends on the size of the project or the amount of resources you’d need. so choose the one that fits your need and press Next: Configure Instance.
Leave Step #3 as it is. Unless you have read the AWS documentation and understand what you’re doing.
Step #4. Add Storage. Well this should be straight forward, you’re just specifying the size of your storage drive. (30GB Minimum Recommended)
Skip All other steps, Just Press Review And Launch
It will ask you to create an SSH key or use an existing one. Make sure you save the SSH key because you will not get another chance to change this.
Now your Instance has been Set-up, You can log in using Putty or any other SSH clients.
